A transformative session unfolded at NIFT Gandhinagar with Raman Dutta, CEO – Alliders, and Gaurav Bhargava, President of LPH Apparel Inc. USA. Hosted by Professor Sameer Sood, Director of NIFT Gandhinagar, the event was a beacon of inspiration for the students. 
 
Raman Dutta kicked off the session by introducing the mission of the Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association (BSL) to drive positive change in the industry. He highlighted how BSL empowers students to create their own brands while promoting sustainability. Sustainability Marathon

May 5th -12th

In response to rising consumer awareness and the existing gaps in the global market regarding SUSTAINABILITY-CIRCULARITY-TRACEABILITY, BSL, in collaboration with AEPC, launched a Sustainability Marathon as Roadshows across 5-Key garment clusters: Tiruppur, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Gurugram. The initiative showcased leading garment manufacturers who shared their success stories, highlighting the positive environmental and social impacts of their sustainable practices. Sustainability Marathon culminated with awarding the sustainable apparel companies and change makers. The awards were given across both MSME and Non-MSME Manufacturers.
