At India’s biggest apparel supply chain conference, APPAREL CONNECT 2024 (7th Edition) powered by CARGOCONNECT, industry leaders gathered to discuss the future of Indian brands in the global market. BSL Founder & National General Secretary Raman Dutta emphasized the importance of balancing offline and online strategies to meet global customer demands. He highlighted the crucial role of technology and automation in this transition, with Indian tech companies driving solutions for international expansion.
Raman Dutta’s mantra, “First find the problem, then digitize, then digitalize, and then solve the problem”, encapsulated the essence of navigating today’s complex business landscape.
The panel also explored the global presence of Indian brands, particularly in the lifestyle sector, addressing the current lack of prominent Indian brands on the international stage. Discussions focused on how Indian companies could leverage their expertise in design, manufacturing, and supply chain management, along with existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), to penetrate global markets.
