The Glocal Textile Convention, organized by BSL at Stellar Resorts, New Delhi, brought together key industry leaders to advance the founding principle “PANCH PAHEL”.  

Chief Guest Smt. Rachna Shah highlighted the immense potential of the Indian apparel industry, focusing on the trillion-dollar goal.  

“The Indian textile industry excels at every stage of the value chain, from garments to home furnishings. It is extremely important for us to build massive textile parks, capacity building, and smart factories providing a competitive edge in the global market.”  

Padmashri Dr. A. Sakthivel was felicitated with Life Time Achievement Award by Smt. Rachna Shah, Textile Secretary, Ministry of Textiles.

The two-day event featured Knowledge-sessions on import substitution, export promotion, MMF & Technical textiles, Digitalization-Automation, sustainability, and much more, drawing fashion buyers, apparel exporters, sourcing heads, and top industry leaders. Yarns, fabrics, and accessories community were honoured with recognition awards.
